‘Cantos dei tarli (I–XXXIII)’ is a book by the artist, poet and entomologist Tommaso Lisa, published by Villa Rondinelli Editions.
Ironically inspired by Ezra Pound’s ‘Cantos’, this book decodes the world of wood-boring worms, turning it into a codex and then into poetry. The graphic project expands the intricate galleries carved by the insects, turning them into macroscopic line drawings that span the pages of the book.
